I needed to add a sky shot...I'm sure I'll have more eventually. I love to take photos of the sky - anytime of day - I love the way the clouds look, the colors, it's just soothing. Now how could anyone not enjoy dinner looking at this each evening. Oh would it be nice to live near the Ocean!
Here's my bro Tom. I was so happy to get this photo - he looks great! I know how much he loves getting photos taken (haha)....needless to say we were all happy to get a copy of this. Now....does it look like Winter to you in this photo? Gotta love that warm weather in Taiwan!
I miss you bro...can't wait to get out to visit again soon. The plans are in the works, I just have to figure out when and how.
Our handsome young Matador. He was quite the cutie and we got to meet him afterwards. He gave us both roses and had us take a photo with him. I think we were the only foreigners hanging around after the fight - most of them left - I'm not sure they realized that the Matadors actually killed the Bull in the end. I guess all I can say is know what to expect when you decide to go to a local cultural event.
This is Nat and I after the bullfights...we needed to have a beer and chill out after the heat. We loved the colors of this fountain at the little restaurant we visited and had the waiter take our photo. Can you tell we were loving the sun?
Again...another great picture. Who can ask for more? No one to bother us, peace and quiet for a few hours....and then getting to swim with the dolphins! On the left, in the background, is the dolphin enclosure.
Here's my sister Sue - isn't she just too cute? I thought this was a great photo -we lucked out with getting a shot of Mount Rainier in the background too! That is a rare occurence. I was in Seattle for 15 months and I had a great time - met alot of really great people.
Sue and I took a boat tour in Seattle and we had great views of Mount Rainier - I had to add a few here, I mean the opportunities to actually get photos like this one are few and far between. At least I think it's a great shot :-)
I tell ya...we had great weather and lots of fun! Mom and Dad even had a chance to take the boat out for a spin a few times - we had to call them back in for dinner! They're worse then kids!
Here's my brother Tom and I at Mt. Alishan in Taiwan. The point of this place is to go and see the sun rise ...well, it was definitely worth it - even if I was exhausted. My Dad visited Taiwan with me as well, my brother is there teaching English and loving it. Our trip was great and I can't wait to go back.
I love this picture..the way the mists are coming off the mountains. I have to find out how high up we were....darn it if I remember right now. All i know is we travelled through about 4 temperate zones and it was cold in the morning!
I had to add this one...it's me and my little baby Darla! This was a Lac Bitobi last summer. Her sister Trixie is somewhere around..I'll need to find a photo of her to add soon.
Finally stopped travelling, happy to be home. Generally have a joie-de-vivre and like to stay active, but when I want to chill there is nothing that can drag me out of the house. I play a number of team sports that seem to keep me out of trouble (well sort of). Overall I love people and appreciate all the time I get to spend with others and the things I get to learn from them.
